Thai Diner
3280 Cobb Pkwy
Atlanta, GA
Thai Diner is located between two giants, AMC theater and Dave & Busters, I can probably say with certainty that this is the only Thai restaurant of it's kind. The restaurant was a fusion joint, it had a sushi bar that I did not take advantage of. The Thai Tea was a little too harsh for my taste. They included a nice little tasty spring roll as part of the lunch, accompanied by sweet and sour sauce of course, I wouldn't expect anything else from a fusion place. I had to do a double take at one of the servers, I swore he/she was a tranny, another first for me! I am ashamed that I didn't try their chicken satay, I just wasn't that hungry, and I had a plane to catch in a couple hours. The yellow curry was gangbusters, it had the exact yellow curry taste I was looking for, just my luck, I always find these gems when I am leaving town! My total bill was less than $10! This giant restaurant goes against the principles of the "mom and pop" Thai Restaurant, which is who I like to support, but if I lived in the area I would frequent this place for sure. Definitely worth the trip just for the Yellow Curry alone.
Thai Iced Tea $2.25
Chicken Satay $5.95
