I was excited to try this place out because it was a 5 minute walk from my hotel at the Hilton Garden Inn. When I first walked in, I heard AUTHENTIC THAI MUSIC! Thats a good start! I noticed that when I was sipping my Thai Ice Tea the music really made the experience that much better. I try not to comment too much on the beverages, but this was a "wow" Thai Ice Tea, it had just the right amount of sweetness. The server was really good, he was a white boy, but you could tell he knew his stuff. AMAZING Satay Kai, wowzers, now THATS what I am talking about. I drenched each strip in the peanut sauce with a little sweet cucumber and it was straight from the heavens. I had never heard Chicken Satay be called Satay Kai, if I spoke Thai I would translate, but I don't. The Yellow Curry accompanied the Chicken Satay on it's trip from the heavens. The yellow curry did have the "Athens spin" on my favorite Thai dish with the vegetables, but this was much better than Siri. Overall I thouroghly enjoyed this place. Thai Spoon was a huge step up from Siri Thai, the only regret I have is not taking my friend to this Thai restaurant while he was in town.
The Thai Ice Tea was $2.50 (well worth that price!), the Chicken Satay was $6.50, and the Yellow Curry was $10.50.
