I almost felt bad getting a curry dish because of the name of their restaurant. When I parked, I noticed there was not a car parked in the lot, so I was not surprised to see that the place was empty when I first walked in. I arrived at lunchtime so they only had three curries on the menu, so I asked if they had yellow or Massaman and the gentleman that was serving me politely said that they could make it to order, which impressed me. He brought out my Thai Iced Tea, which was great, along with a bowl of soup. The soup was a broth with peas, lettuce, chicken, rice noodles, and some other stuff, all ingredients were fresh and really good. As you can see in the picture I annihilated the Chicken Satay, it was very very good! The aroma of the Massaman curry as it was placed in front of me smelled spicy and delicious. I was having a great experience to that point so I excepted the entrée to be good, and GREAT is what I got. Wow, all fresh ingredients, perfect portion size, and expensive nuts to boot! I normally see peanuts on Massaman, but they served it with Cashews, really classy. Its the little things that puts a Thai restaurant at another level and i felt like Pad Thai provided that. This place goes to show that the old adage "you can't judge a book by it's cover" is so true.
If I had to describe Pad Thai Restaurant in Naples, FL with one word, it would be FRESH.
