Siam Hut Thai Restaurant Cape Coral, FL

Siam Hut Thai Restauant
4521 Del Prado Boulevard South
Cape Coral, FL

The menus have white out all over the second number in the price, so it could be 11 bucks or 19, I wouldn't know. The decor was beautiful and comforting, I felt like I was walking into a little slice of Thailand right in Ft. Myers. The server looked like and sounded like she was from the Caribbean. The server brought out two other menus with the same problem. I came with a friend so I was crossing my fingers that it would be good, I was disappointed. The Thai Iced Tea was way too sweet. My friend didn't look like he enjoyed the chicken satay at all, he ate just one strip and did the immediate "it was good". The peanut sauce was really oily, it was 50% sauce and 50% oil. The Massaman Curry was VERY sweet and I normally like sweet, but this was too sweet. It was so sweet that I couldn't taste the peanuts or the actual curry. It had zero spice, and I asked for it medium. A nice Thai lady came around and asked how the food was and of course i gave the standard response, "it was good". They didn't take American Express and I forgot my wallet so my friend had to pay, it was a huge inconvenience. The waitress was on top of filling drinks but was very boring. Overall I was unimpressed with everything.

Thai Iced Tea $2.95
Chicken Satay $5.95
Massaman Curry $10.95
