They were bumping Kesha when I first walked in, I couldn't help but throw up in my mouth a little. Not a good start. Mmm the first sip of my Thai Tea was delish. They showed their Chinese influence by promptly bringing out a bowl of hot and sour soup right after I ordered. I enjoyed the soup and moved on to the chicken egg roll. I didn't know I was in a Chinese food restaurant! I guess they do have signs on the door that say Chinese/Thai food. The Yellow Curry came out too spicy, I asked for medium, see hot vs super hot rant. To their credit she did come around to ask me if it was too hot, I said "a little". The server didn't take it back or anything, I didn't really expect her to. If I was to ever go back to Thai Chef's Bistro I would ask for mild. Through all that spice I was able to decipher the taste, it wasn't the best. I am halfway guessing that it would be a decent dish, nothing spectacular. The portion was huge for a lunch meal. I do have to add that at the end of the meal the server came to my table and started small talk with me, it was a nice gesture that boosts their "people" score. If your looking for an average meal with large serving that is cheap, this is the place for you.
Thai Iced Tea $2.50
Kang Ka-Ri (Yellow Curry) Lunch $6.95 (cheap!!)
