Wild Thaiger Phoenix, AZ

Wild Thaiger
2631 North Central Avenue
Phoenix, AZ

The building was in a great location near downtown Phoenix. Half the restaurant is outside toward the street and half is inside. The interior design had a perfect mix of upscale Thai Icons and contemporary art, all Asian themed. There was a bar toward the back and looks like a great place to hang out. The Thai Iced Tea was like drinking a creamy dairy desert. I ordered the Satay combo that had Chicken, Beef, and Shrimp. The peanut sauce covered the dish and took it to another level, it was very good. The presentation was also very good, almost the best I had seen. Our server was a shy Thai girl that didn't speak much English, but she did her job well. The Chicken Yellow Curry came out looking great, both the Pad Thai my wife ordered and my dish came out with a cilantro and beat garnish. I give the Curry one thumb up and the wife gives her one as well. She liked her Pad Thai but did not love it, she likes it a little sweeter. She added the sweet cucumber sauce to the Pad Thai and said that made it better. I did like the fact that they served my dish with the sweet cucumber sauce, I can't get enough of that stuff! They gave my wife a rose for mothers day, a really nice gesture. I wanted to add this quick snippet, we went to Thai House the next day and we agreed hands down the Thai House was much better tasting food, cheaper too.

Thai Iced Tea $2.75
Chicken Satay $8.95
