Thai Fresh Los Angeles, CA

Thai Fresh
1771 Westwood Boulevard
Los Angeles, California

Continuing on with our Thai Food marathon in California, we saw this one on the side of the road and decided to hit it up. They had cool menus, which looked more like a photography portfolio than a menu. At first taste of the T.I.T. thats an acronym for Thai Iced Tea by the way, I fell in love... see rant about how its nearly impossible to do a Thai Iced Tea wrong. The people seemed nice, there weren't many people in the restaurant which is never a good sign. The restaurant was small, you could see into the back and the loft area that looked like Jeff Ross lived there, it was messy. I don't really even know what that means, thats what you get for writing this up on a plane at midnight. The Yellow Curry was weirdly spicy and hit my throat and choked me up. The flavor didn't really penetrate any of the ingredients, I hate when that happens. The Curry sauce tasted reminiscent of tomato paste. The actual restaurant was uncomfortable, I don't think it had an air conditioning unit. The below list sounds amazing, it wasn't, don't get too excited. Each of the items had something wrong with it... not one of them was worth the $9.25.
Thai Iced Tea $2.50
Combination Appetizer $9.25
Egg Rolls
Satay
BBQ Ribs
Fried Shrimp
Yellow Curry $7.50
