It is a stand alone building next to some industrial plant, Lima OH is full of Thai restaurants in odd locations. There was only one server and she was VERY nice, right when I sat down she asked me where I was from and what I was doing in Lima. I don't know how much she understood, but this is what I love about Thai people. There was calming Thai music in the background, I love that in a Thai restaurant, +1 in the atmosphere department. See write up about Thai Iced Tea in Ohio. They didn't have Yellow Curry on the menu but she said they had it and took my order right back to the kitchen. This was the second Thai place that brought out an Egg Roll with lunch in Lima. Not usual Thai practice, but I dig it, and theirs was particularly delicious. You know the difference between going to any Mexican food place here, then going to Mexico and trying real Mexican food, well I think that's what I just experienced here at Bangkok Bay. The Yellow Curry had a unique and delicious taste. The cook must have thickened up the sauce with some potato paste or something, I can't put my finger on it, but I like it. The sauce had a, for lack of a better term, sandy consistency, but in a good way. After the meal I had a nice talk with the server girl, she taught me some Thai words. Kiaw (or something close) = Green. I wish I would have found this place at the beginning of the week, it was definitely the best of the three I tried in Lima.
