I had a splitting headache going into this place, so that may have influenced my mood. Walking into this restaurant you notice right away it's not sit down nice per se, but it did look like what I picture a restaurant in downtown Bangkok to look like complete with the cheesy pictures of each meal numbered behind the register. I felt like I had to point to the picture in order for the lady to get the meal right, although she was very kind. The decor, seating, and just overall setup was a little, for lack of a better term, ghetto. I could see right through to the kitchen and noticed they were all Thai, always a good sign. The Thai Iced Tea was delish, very sweet. For some reason they decided styrofoam cups for both my water and tea was a good idea. The Chicken Curry sauce, I repeat, sauce, was very good, a couple oddities I noticed:
1. There were a few potatoes that looked nearly perfectly round, weird.
2. The pineapple they put in tasted rotten. The rottenness didn't penetrate the whole plate though, just if I ate the pieces of pineapple, I ate two, shows how quick I learn my lesson.
The onions and carrots were undercooked and there were way too many onions. The chicken had tendons, I caught a couple pieces and had to spit them out, that's a deal breaker for me. I drop the pen and stop the review. I didn't catch the prices, she typed them into the register really fast, but my Thai Iced Tea and Yellow Curry came to about $10, pretty cheap.
