Funny the sign on the door said "go for the food not the decor" , so that sparked my interest. I took a picture of the sign and read it later, it was an article in the local paper raving about the food but giving low ratings for the ambiance, funny how our reviews matched up. They had an empty fish tank with scum on it and an empty front desk cabinet that looked like their should have been some boxes of snickers in there. The lady served me was very nice. The restaurant is attached to a Thai grocery/bodega, you have to go through that door to get to the restaurant, it's a bit awkward. They only had red and green curry on the menu, but I asked for Yellow and she said "no problem, we can make anything, we have all ingredients next door.
She asked if I eat Thai food a lot, I said yea, about medium and the food came out as such. The special made to order Chicken Yellow Curry was very good, it didn't look like it because the sauce wasn't thick, but the taste was there and that's what really matters. I also started out the meal with some delicious egg rolls, how Chinese of me!
